J.L. Clark, Inc. in Rockford, IL is seeking an experienced tool maker for the Tool & Die A-3rd Shift. You will make and repair tools, dies, fixtures, gauges and related components with high precision, reading blueprints and setting up machines.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years as an A journeyman tool maker, with proficiency in EDM, measuring instruments, and tool room operations. A 3rd shift with a 15% premium is offered.

Formación

• Vocational or high school diploma or GED with apprenticeship or comparable experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience at journeyman level.
• Knowledge and experience equivalent to an “A” journeyman tool maker.

Responsabilidades

• Read drawings and blueprints and plan tool operations.
• Build or repair tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and related components.
• Set up and operate tool room machines with high precision tolerances.
• Use EDM machines, programming, set up and operation.
• Work with cross functional teams in production and engineering.
