Qualifications

• Vocational or high school diploma with apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in the classification to develop required skills.
• Must have knowledge and experience equivalent to an A journeyman tool maker.

Responsibilities

• Make and repair tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, etc., meeting customer needs.
• Read blueprints and plan machine and hand-tool operations.
• Set up and run tool room machines; use precision measuring tools.
