Job Title: Technician


FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt


Pay Range: The base pay generally ranges between $26 - $35/hr. Factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay.

General Summary: Maintain efficient and safe operations of all equipment, machinery, and building facilities to support the manufacturing plant or ensure manufactured parts meet standards. This role is a subject matter expert performing advanced technical and mechanical duties requiring specific training, licenses, or certifications. Notify the supervisor of any issues impacting production and adhere to safety, health, and environmental guidelines.


Reporting Relationships:

  • Job Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
  • Direct Reports: None

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing maintenance and repair across various areas, including Robotics, CNC, Tooling, Wire EDM, Facilities, Mechanical, Electrical, Machine Operations, Tool & Die, or Quality Assurance, meeting specific training requirements.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, complete safety checklists, and ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Locate, troubleshoot, and repair machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime, and make repairs to building facilities as needed.
  • Report quality issues promptly and shut down equipment if unresolved.
  • Identify process and equipment inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Perform other tasks consistent with training and knowledge.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Successful high school completion preferred; additional training or certification required for specific areas.
  • Skill Requirements: Support roles at Associate, Core, or Senior levels, with increasing complexity and autonomy, requiring relevant training and experience.

Physical Requirements: Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, standing, material handling, object manipulation, vision, and lifting requirements are detailed, with specific frequency and weight guidelines.

  • Learn and perform tasks related to tool and die components, grinding, lathe work, mill work, basic welding, hand work, and die repair.
