• Inspect, troubleshoot, assemble, repair and test tools and dies to minimize downtime and support production.
• Drive continuous improvement, tooling efficiency and scrap reduction; document records in SAP and follow repair procedures.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and design specifications to set up, manufacture, and modify tooling components to required tolerances.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain toolroom equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills to fabricate, repair, and finish tools and die components.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, assemble, repair, and test tools and dies to minimize downtime, support production continuity, and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Drive continuous improvement, tooling efficiency, and scrap reduction initiatives; maintain accurate records in SAP, follow standard repair procedures, and report recurring equipment issues.

Qualifications for the role:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker with demonstrated expertise in toolroom and machining operations.
• Proficient in operating drills, lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision metalworking equipment.
• Strong knowledge of die assembly, die operation, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to perform complex mathematical calculations using geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
• Solid understanding of metallurgy and metal properties, including material selection and performance characteristics.
• Effective team player with strong communication skills; able to collaborate with engineers and machinists while working independently with minimal supervision.
