Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker, preferably in progressive stamping.
• Strong knowledge of die construction, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience working with carbide and hardened materials.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Apprenticeship completion or technical training in Tool & Die or Machining.
• Experience in high-speed, high-volume stamping environments.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
• Perform precision machining using manual/CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment
• Work with hardened steels, carbide, and other tool steels
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and press teams to optimize die and tooling performance
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure tooling meets quality standards
• Work as a team or individual in a clean manufacturing environment.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
• Support continuous improvement and preventive maintenance
