Qualifications

Position Summary

The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for maintaining production, quality performance levels, and the efficient use of manufacturing equipment in accordance with his/her knowledge and training in conformance with established Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practice.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to operate all machine shop equipment, including milling machines (manual and CNC), lathes, surface grinders, and others
• Experience servicing and repairing progressive high-speed stamping dies
• Experience servicing and repairing high-cavitation plastic injection molds
• Ability to work unsupervised to a tolerance of .0001"
• Responsible for setting up and troubleshooting molds and dies - Schaal high-speed stamping presses, Sumitomo plastic mold injection machines

Your Profile

Education And Experience

• High School or GED equivalent required
• Minimum 4 years experience in a machine shop role
