Job summary

Qualifications

Job Details: Job Location: Painesville Manufacturing - Painesville, OH 44077,Summary: This position is responsible for learning to use blueprints to determine project specifications, how to set up and operate machine tools, finish and adjust parts, and test tools to ensure quality standards are met.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following:Other duties may be assigned.Demonstrate proficiency at reading/interpreting sketches, blueprints, specifications, and models to plan operations for the fabrication of dies, tools, and rolls, ensuring safety and maximum efficiencyLearn how to verify dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, and micrometersLearn how to utilize hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and dies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs, and diesLearn how to design templates and jigs to be used as work aids for convenient fabrication of products and partsTrain how to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools, manually operated dies and progressive diesLearn how to use standard tool room machinery: surface grinders, mills, drills, lathes, etc.Learn how to select the appropriate metals and materials to be used based on properties, ensuring they meet project specificationsQualifications:Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
