We are looking for a Tool and Die Maker with experience in machining to build and maintain machine tools and industrial machines. The Tool and Die Maker will also be responsible for following technical drawings and using knowledge of mathematics to produce precision parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan Work Processes & Sequences – Analyze job requirements and establish the necessary steps to fabricate specified tools efficiently
  • Material Acquisition – Obtain and verify materials according to specifications or job requirements
  • Blueprint & Specification Review – Interpret engineering drawings, instructions, or physical samples to ensure precise production
  • Precision Machining – Work within tight tolerances of .0005” - .001” to achieve high-accuracy components
  • Fabrication & Machining Operations – Perform all necessary machining and fabricating tasks, including heat-treating, annealing, hardening, grinding, and sharpening
  • Tool & Die Assembly – Assemble dies and fixtures, conducting tryout tests to validate functionality
  • Repair & Modification – Execute repair and alteration tasks as required to maintain tool performance and longevity
  • General Toolmaking Support – Carry out additional machining, fabrication, and support tasks as needed
  • Safety & Compliance – Adhere to all site safety regulations, including guidelines outlined in the associate handbook, cardinal rule cards, job-specific standard work, and EHS training documents
  • Environmental Awareness – Report any chemical spills or environmental concerns immediately to a supervisor, security, or EHS personnel
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience working with Stamping Dies
  • 1+ years of experience working with complex drawings and close tolerances
  • Ability to use shop mathematics and handbook formulas
  • 6+ months of using all types of precision inspection tools like height gauges, micrometers, calipers etc...
  • Journeyman’s License for Tool and Die for a US-based Union OR the ability to pass a skills assessment onsite
