Job description

Job Overview

Marvin Composites is hiring a Tool and Die Maker at our Fargo, ND facility. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a key role in setting up and operating equipment in our modern Tool and Die department! With our brand-new machinery at your disposal, we focus on delivering outstanding workmanship, supporting our production teams with timely repairs, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. Highlights of your role
  • Work with advanced equipment in a well-equipped Tool and Die department, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Set up and operate machine tools like surface grinders and vertical mills to manufacture and modify dies and other tooling.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair machining equipment, tools, and dies to ensure top-quality performance.
  • Perform quality checks with measuring and gauging tools, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines for on-time delivery and minimal waste.

Schedule:

6:30 AM - 6:45 PM

Work 7 out of 14 days every two weeks. Every other weekend is a 3 day weekend off! The normal work schedule includes working 36 hours one week (Sun/Wed/Thu) and 48 hours the next (Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat).

Pay:

$24-33/ hr. based on experience.

  • A team-focused mentality, with the ability to train and mentor.
  • A proactive approach to supporting production and solving challenges.
Also want to make sure you have
  • Two or more years of related experience or a technical degree.
  • Mechanical or technical proficiency to operate equipment such as CNC mill or surface grinder.
