The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the metal stamping industry and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a Tool and Die Maker, this role collaborates closely with production teams to meet our rigorous standards and support our commitment to excellence.

  • Layout and Planning: Calculate dimensions, plan layouts, and determine assembly methods and sequences of operations.
  • Machining: Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and hones to machine parts. Ensure machined parts meet precise specifications.
  • Assembly and Fitting: Position and secure machined parts on surface plates or worktables. Assemble parts into complete assemblies and mechanisms, verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances to ensure proper function.
  • Tool and Die Maintenance: Inspect standard or previously used dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures; recommend and implement design modifications to enhance construction and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze quality reports, such as CMM readings and quality inspection sheets, to adjust stamping dies and address any issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily labor records, complete tool logbooks, and other necessary documentation to support departmental operations.
  • Work Environment Management: Maintain a clean, organized work environment, keeping all equipment, dies, tools, and work areas free of dirt, debris, clutter, oil, and water.
