Job description

Tool & Die Maintenance Technician

Location: Onsite - Union City, TN
Competitive Compensation: Starting at $26.18 - $26.82 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for 3rd shift.

Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:30 pm - 6 am (Sun- Thurs).

Crafting Excellence: Responsibilities

  • Follow safety practices, PPE requirements, 5S, and complete LOTO training.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for SAP transactions, work order execution, and profile look-up.
  • Handle tooling up to 75 lbs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on fabrication tooling, including inspections and cleaning.
  • Maintain and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
  • Use machinery to manufacture or modify parts as needed.
  • Assist with replacement parts, tooling, and sample parts for engineering.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment and interpret drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Minimum 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Participation in developmental training.
  • Teamwork skills and at least 3 years of Tool & Die or similar experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or work experience in machine shops or maintenance.
  • Ability to work in teams, obtain a PIV license, and be flexible with hours.
  • Basic hand tools and toolbox required.

  • Physical ability: Perform duties involving bending, lifting, and pushing weights over 50 pounds.
  • Screening: Drug screen and background check.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and performance.
  • Safety: Follow all safety policies.
