Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC is seeking a Tool and Die Machinist in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on maintenance and minor repair of dies, punches, tool steel, and fixtures within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of machinist experience or a technical diploma, reads blueprints, and can operate standard shop tools; CNC knowledge is a plus. OSHA safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.
• Ability to perform standard shop computations (math).
• Ability to read schematics (blueprints), engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures.
• Must have draw die experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine the extent and method of repair to dies by means of careful inspection and accurate measurement.
• Perform repair operations to dies.
• Set up and operate standard milling machine, lathe, drill press, grinder and other machine tools as directed under general supervision.
• Design and manufacture tools and fixtures for new products.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all OSHA and internal safety standards.
