Job summary

Magna Cosma International in Ohio is seeking a skilled Journeyman Tool & Die to join our manufacturing team. You will repair, maintain and construct tools and dies, inspect dimensions, and help drive safety, quality and productivity on the shop floor.

The role requires blueprint literacy, TIG/MIG/ARC welding proficiency, lifting up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including every 3rd weekend and overtime. We value experience and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Journeyman in Tool & Die or equivalent to 10+ years experience.
• Able to read blueprints, follow measurements and tolerances.
• Proficient with welding equipment and machine tools; capable of lifting 75 lb.

Responsibilities

• Attain safety, quality and productivity goals on the shop floor.
• Repair and maintain production tools and dies.
• Construct new tools and dies as required and verify conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot problems during production and modify dies per engineering changes.
• Follow blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions; maintain equipment records.
• Operate lift truck, overhead crane and related equipment; perform other duties as assigned.
