Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Experience with inventory management and spare parts control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spare part's room following 5s methodology and inventory control accuracy.
• Meet requirements of issues and deliveries of spare parts & equipment on time.
• Plan requirements and create purchase requisitions of spare parts and/or equipment.
• Keep control of open orders by receiving the spare parts & equipment on time.
• Stocking of spare parts & equipment to designated locations.
• File all the receiving documents.
• Get the control cycles requested; Verifies physical stock count against computer generated inventory reports.
• Retrieve and distribute parts to maintenance personnel.
• Follow up on any other additional activity requested.
• Complies and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Orders parts from contracted vendors that are not in stock but are required immediately for a mechanical repair.
• Verifies physical stock count against computer generated inventory reports.
