The Tool Crib Attendant supports the team by assembling tooling and replenishing inventory as needed. This role involves managing tool supplies, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate efficient operations.

  • Position Type: Hourly, Full Time
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday | Typically 5:00am – 1:30pm
  • Pay Range: $18/hr - $21/hr
  • Reports To: Tooling Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, measuring devices, and other equipment as needed, ensuring all items are in good working condition.
  • Pull tools from the Tool Crib to replenish tool trays at the start of each shift and monitor inventory levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of tooling withdrawals and returns to ensure accountability and facilitate inventory management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain clear and accurate records.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to use hydraulic press, pedestal grinder, drill press, lathe, surface grinder, hand grinder, calipers, micrometers, power cutter and basic hand tools.

Required Qualifications

  • High Schooldiploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • Previous inventory management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.
  • History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
