The Job:

As a Tool Crib Attendant, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as an on-site employee based in Hampstead, MD. You’ll get to:

  • Clean and polish powdered metal tooling after production runs

  • Evaluate tool condition and assess the need for reface

  • Coordinate and prioritize tooling needs for production

  • Repair and replace tools as needed, using Ariba to create and manage purchase orders

  • Provide tool maintenance support

  • Maintain log of tool inventory, using the Tool Track software

  • Maintain tool room supplies

  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Person:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience

  • Basic proficiency or ability to learn applicable software (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Tool Track, Ariba)

  • Strong orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement, demonstrated by a work history of safe performance, accuracy, and attention to detail in the work performed, as well as constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement

  • Ability to handle continuous standing of up to 8 to 10 hours daily

  • Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 33 lbs independently and up to 70 lbs with assistance

  • Safe, reliable, and efficient material handling techniques

  • Available to work daily and weekly overtime as required

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $22.52- $24.74 per hour. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
