Position: Tool Crib Attendant

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our operations by managing and distributing tools and equipment to our skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and supplies. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all items are accounted for and in good condition.
2. Tool Distribution: Issue tools and equipment to production staff as needed. Ensure that all issued items are returned when finished and in proper working condition.
3. Maintenance and Repairs: Inspect tools and equipment for damage or wear. Coordinate repairs and maintenance as necessary to keep all items in optimal working condition.
4. Ordering Supplies: Monitor inventory levels and order new tools, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of tool usage, repairs, and inventory levels.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure all tools and equipment meet safety standards. Implement and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. Provide excellent service to production staff by promptly addressing their tool and equipment needs. Resolve any issues or discrepancies efficiently.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, tool crib operations, or a related field is preferred.
2. Knowledge: Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and CNC tooling. Understanding of safety standards and maintenance procedures.
3. Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
5. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Standing and walking for extended periods.
