Job description

Join to apply for the Tool and Die Maker B role at New Standard Corporation.

Shift: 2nd shift (4pm - 2:30am)

4 Day work week (Monday-Thursday)

Pay: $30+ per hour, based on experience

Job Specific Role Expectations

1. Maintain dies and tooling to print specifications.
2. Sharpen and shim dies to specifications.
3. Heat treat all cutting tools to print specifications.
4. Perform machining duties and train/mentor others as required.
5. Perform preventative maintenance on dies.
6. Properly lace or start a strip following standard procedures.
7. Conduct first and last piece evaluations per SOPs.
8. Read strips accurately and create TRT when applicable.
9. Repair and maintain dies, components, and fixtures.
10. Support press setups and install die sets and accessories.
11. Design, build, and refurbish dies and gages.
12. Analyze broken dies, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions.
13. Test, try out, and develop new dies or upgrades.
14. Build tool & die components, jigs, fixtures, and gages.
15. Evaluate tools for potential upgrades to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
