Job description

Join to apply for the Tool and Die Maker - $40/Hour role at AUTOKINITON.

This position is a full-time role within our Tool & Die team, reporting to the Tool & Die Supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing die repairs at presses and in the tool room.
2. Completing preventative maintenance activities on dies.
3. Welding various materials used in maintenance and the tool room.
4. Repairing and maintaining nitrogen pressure systems used in dies.
5. Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical/pneumatic systems used in dies.
6. Operating overhead cranes to move and stage dies.
7. Machining materials related to die repairs and maintenance.

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 8 years of verifiable experience working on metal stamping dies or a state certification.
• Strong knowledge of draw dies and transfer die processes.
• Experience with welding, including GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW processes.
• Proficiency in machinery setup and operation.
• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
