Tool and Die Maker - Kapco Grafton, WI

Primary Responsibilities

• Build new and repair existing dies, including progressive dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• Maintain extremely close tolerances to reduce costs and improve speed and quality.
• Lay out and perform bench and machine operations to construct, alter, and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, and special tools.
• Perform tool and die maintenance and repairs.
• Verify that quality and print specifications are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

Trade school program or equivalent (2 years). Journeyman's Card. Over 5 years of experience in building new metal stamping and progressive dies. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
