Akira Technologies Inc. is seeking a Tool Administrator/Lab Manager to support USARC Cyberspace operations from Fort Bragg, NC.

The role manages tool configuration, authorization, and lab sustainment for Blue Team and CTI activities, with strict adherence to STIG/SRG baselines and security controls. Onsite duties require an Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI where needed) and coordination with government personnel to provision licenses, hardware, and connectivity for malware analysis and secure

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance at a minimum; TS/SCI eligibility/access where required by the assigned work role or supported network.
• Demonstrated experience administering cybersecurity tools, SIEM infrastructure, or related security technologies in a DoD or enterprise environment.
• Experience with configuration management, software lifecycle management, version control, and technology sustainment.
• Familiarity with DISA STIG/SRG requirements, ACAS/Tenable scanning, and IAVM remediation processes.
• Experience managing isolated laboratory, sandbox, or test environments and maintaining appropriate network separation.
• Knowledge of software licensing, patch management, configuration baselines, and change-control practices.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a classified, mission-focused operational environment.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Bragg, NC and support operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain configuration management of COTS, GOTS, contractor-developed scripts, analytic tools, and sandbox/laboratory infrastructure supporting Blue Team and CTI operations.
• Coordinate authorization for new tools, software versions, and extensions through the appropriate Cyber Need Form (CNF) or successor authorization process.
• Maintain the Tool Authorization Register, including authorized tools, functions, versions, licenses, and authorization references; provide updates to the COR quarterly and upon request.
• Ensure tools and infrastructure maintain current STIG/SRG-compliant baselines, conduct ACAS/Tenable scans, and remediate findings within required IAVM timelines.
• Maintain sandbox and laboratory environments with appropriate physical or logical separation from production networks and restrict connectivity to authorized channels.
• Support the CTI team in maintaining the DCO test lab, including the Government-approved commercially leased connection isolated from NIPRNet for malware analysis and OSINT collection.
• Develop and maintain test plans, acceptance criteria, and rollback procedures for tool upgrades and configuration changes.
• Ensure penetration-testing tools are authorized and included on the applicable ARCYBER-approved Penetration Tools list before use in CDAP activities.
• Coordinate with Government personnel to ensure required software licensing, hardware, network connectivity, and other mission-tooling resources are provisioned and sustained.
• Maintain tool baselines, patch schedules, configuration records, lifecycle documentation, and configuration-drift remediation actions.
• Prepare a semi-annual Technology Refresh Plan identifying tools approaching End-of-Life/End-of-Support and recommending replacement or sustainment actions.
• Ensure unauthorized tools or software are not introduced into production environments.
• Perform other tool administration, laboratory management, and DCO support duties as required.

Akira is seeking a Tool Administrator/Lab Manager to support the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) in cyberspace operations supporting Army and joint requirements. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Army, Army Reserve, ARCYBER, or joint cyberspace operations.
• Experience administering cybersecurity tools in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Blue Team, CTI, or DCO environment.
• Familiarity with NETCOM enterprise authorization processes, ERVB, Cyber Need Forms, or similar DoD technology approval processes.
• Experience managing malware-analysis labs, cyber ranges, or isolated security testing environments.
• Familiarity with Elastic, Tenable/ACAS, SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, network monitoring, or threat-intelligence platforms.
• Relevant cybersecurity or systems administration certifications are a plus.

Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000
