Job summary

Martin Bros. is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to provide professional and accurate delivery service to our customers. Drivers are ambassadors of Martin Bros.

and play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving, accurate product delivery and legendary customer service. Routes start early with 10–12 hour days, typically Monday–Friday, home daily. A valid Class A CDL with a good driving record and a current DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with good driving record.
• Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain).
• 21+ years of age.
• Understand FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Able to lift cases and use a handcart.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely.
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed.
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor, manager or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner.

Martin Bros. is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to provide professional and accurate delivery service to our customers. Delivery Drivers are ambassadors of Martin Bros. and play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving practices, accurate product delivery and providing legendary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Customer Service

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor, manager or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner.

Schedule & Hours

• Delivery routes typically start between2:00 – 4:00 AM; some routes may begin earlier or later depending on location.
• Drivers can expect to work 10–12-hour shifts, averaging 50–55 hours per week.
• Routes are primarily day routes.Monday - Friday; Home daily.
• Class A CDL with a good driving record is required.

Professional Representation

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, the public, and coworkers.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and uniform requirements.

Safe Operation & Driving Standards

• Safely operate assigned tractor/trailer and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Practice Smith System driving principles and understand the use of onboard cameras.
• Maintain a driving record within Martin Bros. insurance guidelines.
• Maintain ELD logs in compliance with DOT regulations.

Skills and Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with good driving record
• Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
• 21+ years of age
• Understanding of FMCSA rules and regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Enjoy working with the public and serving a variety of customers
• This is a physical job - ability to safely lift cases and use a handcart to deliver products up/down ramp
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen and DOT physical upon job offer
