Job summary

Martin Bros. is hiring Delivery Drivers to provide professional delivery service and represent the brand through safe driving and excellent customer service.

Routes start early, with 10–12 hour shifts, typically Monday through Friday, home daily. A Class A CDL and clean driving record are required, along with DOT medical certification and the ability to pass DOT screenings and background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Familiar with FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Able to lift cases and use a handcart safely.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, DOT drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely.
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed.
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor or Transportation office any information promptly.

Martin Bros. is seeking dependable and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to provide professional and accurate delivery service to our customers. Delivery Drivers are ambassadors of Martin Bros. and play a crucial role in representing our brand through safe driving practices, accurate product delivery and providing legendary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Customer Service

• Make accurate and on-time deliveries to customers.
• Stack, scan, and transport products safely
• Place product in designated temperature-controlled areas (cooler, freezer, dry storage, etc.).
• Issue credits and handle returns as directed
• Perform customer service functions including collections when required.
• Communicate with supervisor, manager or Transportation office any necessary information in a timely manner.

Schedule & Hours

• Delivery routes typically start between2:00 - 4:00 AM; some routes may begin earlier or later depending on location.
• Drivers can expect to work 10-12-hour shifts, averaging 50-55 hours per week.
• Routes are primarily day routes.Monday - Friday; Home daily.
• Class A CDL with a good driving record is required.

Professional Representation

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, the public, and coworkers.
• Follow company procedures, policies, and uniform requirements.

Safe Operation & Driving Standards

• Safely operate assigned tractor/trailer and obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Practice Smith System driving principles and understand the use of onboard cameras.
• Maintain a driving record within Martin Bros. insurance guidelines.
• Maintain ELD logs in compliance with DOT regulations.

• This is a physical job - ability to safely lift cases and use a handcart to deliver products up/down ramp
