Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Parsippany, NJ is seeking Tolling Interns for Summer 2027 with opportunities across multiple NJ locations. This internship is typically part-time, temporary, or co-op and is performed under close supervision.

Interns will assist departments by completing basic tasks in areas such as Science, Planning and Technology, participate in meetings, analyze data, and support project teams. Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program
• Pursuing a BA or BS degree in Information Technology or closely related field or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful and able to solve problems creatively
• Excellent written communication skills, verbally articulate, and a good listener
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
• Time Management skills, ability to prioritize and organize work, including multi-task
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquiries and making appointments.
• Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams.
• Assists management in analyzing various data.
• Works on special projects and provides research as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned
