Job description

Position: Seasonal Parking Attendant until 11/8 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability preferred)

Job Summary:

Provides exemplary guest service at the Toll Plaza, including suggestive and persuasive upselling of parking options, and manages all associated financial responsibilities.

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Upsells guest transactions using persuasive techniques to promote parking options such as Prime Parking and Valet Parking. Maintains a minimum average of upgraded parking sales as set by management.
  2. Processes parking pass transactions via established computer systems or manually, providing accurate parking and resort information to guests. Handles cash accurately and reports counterfeit currency or credit cards appropriately.
  3. Provides directions to parking locations. Places parking slips on vehicle windshields corresponding to purchased parking products. Answers guest questions about the resort and resolves concerns using operational knowledge.
  4. Follows safety procedures in Toll Booth operations, including counterfeit detection. Manages vehicle traffic flow when necessary.
  5. Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by adhering to UO policies, procedures, training, and team activities.
  6. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Experience:

One to three years of cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
