Work Hours: 10:15 AM - 7:15 PM or other hours based on business needs. Serves as Protective Services Intake Specialist V in the Complaint and Incident Intake Toll-Free Intake Processing Unit. Handles calls related to abuse, neglect, and exploitation involving various healthcare facilities. Performs complex analysis of complaints, requests, and incidents, and assesses intake priorities in accordance with policies and procedures. Communicates effectively with the public, legislative offices, media, and other stakeholders. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
The position is eligible for telework with travel to the office as needed. Employees must provide their own work infrastructure at home. HHSC does not reimburse for home office setup or internet costs. Must be available to work holidays.
