Location: Mercy Health Defiance Orthopedics - Defiance, OH
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
Mercy Health Defiance Orthopedics is seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our outpatient practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional orthopedic care with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered service. This role involves a mix of office visits, procedures, and surgical days, as well as providing consultations and call coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Conduct office visits, perform orthopedic procedures (e.g., injections), and offer consultative services.
2. Surgical Duties: Perform shoulder, knee, and ankle surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures.
3. Consultations & Call Coverage: Participate in call coverage and consultations with the Toledo group at St. Anne, St. Charles, and Perrysburg.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with LPNs, RNs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

1. Board Certification: Required.
2. Experience: Demonstrated experience in orthopedic procedures.

Typical Day:
A typical day includes a combination of office visits, procedures (such as injections), and consultative services, with designated days for surgeries.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 1-2 surgical days per week with the remaining days in-office. 10 call days per month.
