Job summary

Little Scholars Learning Center is hiring a Toddler / Two's Teacher to nurture and educate children ages 18 months to 3 years using the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum. The role emphasizes building language, social-emotional skills, and independence through structured daily routines.

The ideal candidate will maintain a warm, engaging classroom, plan monthly developmentally appropriate activities, and collaborate with families to support children's progress and milestones.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with toddlers/young children in licensed settings.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Ability to pass background checks and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement Learning Beyond Paper curriculum with fidelity and enthusiasm.
• Develop and submit monthly lesson plans using the curriculum portal.
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities that foster exploration.
• Support children's language development through songs, books, and conversations.
• Encourage early literacy, math, science, art, and movement.
• Foster independence in self-care skills and routines.
• Create meaningful learning experiences through play.
