Qualifications

• CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience with infants/young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in handling children.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: Write and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on CT ELDS.
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment; manage daily routines.
• Family Communication: Maintain open communication with parents and conduct conferences.
• Health and Safety: Ensure cleanliness, safety, and supervise activities.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and stay current with best practices.
