Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher in Surprise, AZ to join our team. You will support daily classroom operations under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, helping create a safe, nurturing environment that supports young children's development and meets licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow safety procedures in a childcare setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
• Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care for children.
• Greet children and families and establish welcoming relationships.
• Respond to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Safety and Supervision Manual and document accidents/incidents.
• Manage and escalate child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to company policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
