Job summary

Primrose School of Burlington is seeking an experienced toddler educator who values structure, professionalism, and room to grow. You will work with a tightly grouped age range, with the same roster and teachers throughout the year to maintain momentum and safety.

You’ll be supported by an Education Coach, a dedicated co-teacher, and a faculty leadership team, with fully stocked classrooms and ongoing advancement.

What Your Experience Looks Like at Primrose

• A tight age range by design-toddler classrooms are grouped within a 3-4 month age range, so you're planning for children at genuinely the same stage, not stretching one lesson across a year of development
• The same roster all year-children stay in one classroom with one set of teachers and friends from September through June/July/August, so they never get uprooted mid-year and you never lose the momentum you've built with them
• A dedicated Education Coach who helps you refine your craft and grow as a professional
• A carefully paired co-teacher chosen to complement your teaching style
• An assigned Faculty Support Teacher who covers breaks and planning time daily
• Ongoing support from a 4-person Leadership Team who are present and invested
• Fully stocked classrooms-all materials, décor, and supplies provided

Why the Age Range Matters

A narrow age range isn't a scheduling detail. It changes what your day actually looks like. Instruction and classroom design are built for one developmental stage instead of trying to serve the most and least mobile toddlers in the room at once. It also makes for a physically safer classroom: fewer mismatches in size, mobility, and mouthing behaviors that typically drive toddler injuries. Less time managing a wide range of abilities means more time actually teaching.
