Job summary

Bi-County Community Action Programs, Inc. seeks dedicated early childhood staff to provide infant/toddler care and education. The role emphasizes a safe, nurturing classroom, developmentally appropriate activities, and close collaboration with a co‑teacher, aides, and volunteers to support children and families.

Minimum CDA required; an associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Compliance with MN DHS Rule 3 licensing and a background check is mandatory for employment.

Qualifications

• Must have Infant/Toddler CDA.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field with experience.
• Must meet MN DHS Rule 3 licensing requirements and pass a DHS background study.

• Plan and lead engaging daily activities aligned with Head Start standards.
• Observe, assess, and record each child’s development.

A Day in the Life

Wages

• Full-time, 40 hours/week, year round.
• Wage Range: With CDA: $19.70 –$27.59/hour; With Associate's: $21.08 –$29.52/hour; With Bachelor’s: $24.13–$33.79/hour.

• Benefits: Competitive package, including medical, dental, vision, life, retirement, and paid leave.
• Schedule: 9 hours/day Monday–Thursday; 4 hours on Fridays.
