Job Summary:
The Toddler Room Lead Teacher at Killington Resort’s childcare center is responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate program for either our 2-year-old room or 3+ year old room. This position leads the daily operations of the assigned toddler classroom, ensuring a nurturing, educational environment for both our local families with recurring care needs and guests visiting our mountain resort. The Lead Teacher develops and implements curriculum, supervises assistant teachers, and maintains a safe, stimulating environment that supports toddlers’ natural curiosity and development.
The childcare center is open 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 7-days/week December-March and Monday-Friday April-November. Employees in this position receive free childcare for their dependent children on days they are working.
