Job summary

South Suburban Park and Recreation District seeks a friendly Parent-Tot Gymnastics Instructor for a part-time role. The position pays $15.70-$19.00 per hour and has an ongoing Open application window, with complimentary registration for one of your children in a Parent-Tot or District recreation gymnastics class.

Ideal candidates have experience with young children; gymnastics experience is a bonus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of employment (offered through SSPRD employment)

Responsibilities

• Teach basic gymnastics skills that emphasize gross and fine motor coordination.
• Encourage physical activity and development in toddler and preschool aged children.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment while engaging children and caregivers.
