Job summary

White Oak Baptist Early Education is seeking a loving Toddler Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where toddlers learn, grow, and feel secure. You will support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through planned activities and routines.

Join a dedicated team delivering high-quality early education, working closely with families to ensure each child feels loved and valued throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children strongly preferred.
• Ability to plan age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Strong communication with families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care and supervision throughout the day.
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Follow daily routines and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Support toddlers with developmental milestones including language and social skills.
• Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and personal care needs.
• Maintain attendance, diapering, and classroom documentation.
• Use Brightwheel to communicate with families and document daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming classroom.
• Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers.
• Follow all policies on health, safety, supervision, and child protection.
• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
