StoneBridge Christian Church in Omaha, NE seeks a Full-time Toddler Classroom Assistant to support children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, ensuring safety, development, and a nurturing environment. You will assist the Lead Teacher and implement age-appropriate activities.

The role requires 18+, reliable transportation, and verifiable childcare hours or a CDA/degree; background check is required. Monday-Friday 8a-5p (or some 8a-5:45p); compensation $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation.
• 1500 verifiable hours working with kids OR CDA OR Associate's/Bachelor's in child education or development.
• Must pass Nebraska State Fingerprinting and a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher to provide a nurturing environment.
• Implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote development.
• Provide individualized attention to each child.
• Assist in toilet training in toddler rooms.
• Manage routines and schedules.
• Communicate with parents about child progress.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation.
