Job summary

The Malvern School of Westtown, PA is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom in a full-time role, Monday–Friday.

You will support an exemplary early childhood education program, maintain a safe, healthy and engaging classroom, and regularly communicate with parents using in-person updates and tech tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing a superior Early Childhood Education program in line with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
