Job summary

The Malvern School of Marlboro in Marlboro, NJ is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday and focuses on delivering quality early childhood education in alignment with our school's philosophy.

You will support lesson implementation, maintain a safe and engaging learning environment, and communicate regularly with parents. A high school diploma and relevant child-care experience are required, with additional credentials encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years old.
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
