Job summary

Douglas Cherokee Head Start/Early Head Start is seeking a Child Care Aide for the Rays Place toddler classroom in Hamblen County, Morristown, TN. Qualifications

• Must obtain a pre-employment physical and screen for communicable diseases.
• Must obtain First Aid and CPR and keep updated.
• Must agree to pre-employment background check.
• Demonstrate a willingness to continue professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in implementing a comprehensive child development program.
• Engage in ongoing assessment of preschool children.
• Promote social and emotional development with positive guidance techniques.
• Supervise children during all daily activities and maintain classroom safety.
