Job summary

The Gardner School of Union Row in Washington, DC is hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher. You will assist the Lead Teacher with implementing developmentally appropriate activities and maintaining a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: CDA or equivalent approved by OSSE; or AA in any subject; or High School diploma with CDA within 2 years.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• 1+ years of experience with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Provide nurturing guidance supporting emotional and behavioral development.
