Job summary

BrightPath Kids is hiring an Assistant Teacher to join our team in Liberty Township – Princeton Glendale. You will work closely with teachers and families to provide a caring, educational environment following NAEYC guidelines.

Responsibilities include supervising children, supporting classroom instruction, decorating spaces, and maintaining a safe, clean setting. You will communicate with parents and help children engage in activities while supporting core early education goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As anAssistant Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:
