Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Liberty Township, PA is seeking an Assistant Teacher to work side-by-side with teachers and families in a warm, nurturing environment aligned with NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include supervising children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, assisting teachers with instruction, decorating classrooms, and maintaining a safe, clean space that invites exploration.

You will communicate effectively with parents, support daily activities, and contribute to a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.

What will you be doing?

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:
