Qualifications

• Must meet basic requirements of child care regulatory agency.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience preferred.
• Light lesson planning supported by the Director.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Provide developmentally appropriate activities.
• Facilitate activities with children and ensure safety during emergencies.

Skills

Ability to relate warmly with young children

Knowledge about social, emotional, and developmental needs

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Education

Experience in childcare or education
