Job summary

Treehouse Childrens Learning Center is seeking a childcare assistant to support teachers with activities and instruction. You will help keep learning areas tidy, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and work with small groups or individuals to reinforce lessons.

The role involves following lesson plans in the lead teacher’s absence, assisting with meals and daily care tasks, and helping to keep children neat and safe while maintaining classroom hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to teacher with activities and instruction.
• Help keep learning areas tidy and safe.

• Work in small groups or one-on-one with students to reinforce material.
• Instruct students in proper classroom procedures and behavior.
• Follow lesson plans in the lead teacher’s absence.
• Assist with serving meals, changing diapers, writing daily reports, recording attendance, engaging in play, and helping to put children to sleep.
• Keep appearance of children neat and clean.
• Assist in daily cleaning and disinfecting of classroom and toys.
• Hybrid responsibilities (filling in as assistance in other classrooms).
• All miscellaneous items pertaining to the classroom

11. All miscellaneous items pertaining to the classroom
