Job summary

True Food Kitchen is hiring for a to-go focused team member in Plano, TX. You’ll take orders, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure accuracy from phone to pickup and delivery. This role offers fast-paced, friendly work with opportunities for tips and growth.

Shifts include AM/PM and mid-day options. Part-time roles may lead to up to 40 hours per person, with access to affordable health care through provided options. Prior restaurant experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced restaurant or take-out environments.
• Ability to take accurate orders over the phone and in person.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take and ring in accurate orders (phone & in person).
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Handle payments and organize the to-go station.
• Manage third-party delivery hand-offs smoothly.
• Monitor KDS system and assist catering orders as needed.
• Provide friendly service and upsell where appropriate.

Compensation: Starting at state tipped minimum wage/hour + Tips*
