Job summary

Famous Dave's in West Des Moines seeks a friendly To Go Specialist/Cashier to help guests order delicious meals for pick-up or office delivery. You will assist customers, input orders with tablets, and ensure accuracy and speed.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and familiarity with POS systems. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous server or restaurant experience preferred.
• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Share knowledge of the menu with guests to enhance at-home or office dining experiences.
• Be punctual, support fellow Team Members, and handle side duties as bussing tables and cleaning workstations.
• Expedite orders and assist with running food while maintaining quality service.
• Utilize tablets and POS equipment accurately and efficiently with attention to detail.
