Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a store associate to deliver fast, friendly service, greet customers, and assist with We-go orders and in-store duties. You will help maintain standards, manage multiple tasks, and support the front-end operations to ensure a positive shopping experience for every guest.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, adherence to policies, and teamwork in a busy store environment. Training will be provided, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment; willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, easy, friendly service to customers and maximize sales through excellent service.
• Assist customers and manage store orders with designated tools and equipment.
• Verify IDs and follow policies for alcohol sales.
• Assist customers picking up orders and complete CBT/training requirements.
• Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to dress code; follow safety guidelines.
