Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a customer-service oriented associate to provide fast, friendly help at our Hayes, VA location. You will assist customers, handle To-Go orders, and maintain store standards.

You’ll greet shoppers, verify IDs for alcohol sales, and support team members throughout each shift. Responsibilities include scanning, bagging, labeling, and helping with order pickups, while following company policies.

• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to customers and maximize sales.
• Assist To-Go Lead in maintaining standards per Food Lion manuals.
• Shop, substitute, scan, bag, label purchases, and verify IDs as required.
• Assist customers picking up orders and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and maintain a neat appearance while following policies.
