Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory is seeking a friendly cashier for our To-Go/windows at our Honolulu location. You’ll greet guests, answer phones, take and enter orders, and ensure accurate, fast service using our POS system. Duties include handling payments, packing orders, and supporting dessert and beverage preparation.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food service required.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in person and over the phone, delivering a positive carry-out experience.
• Answer phones and answer guest questions clearly.
• Demonstrate active listening during guest interactions.
• Use menu knowledge to make recommendations and handle allergies confidently.
• Assist guests with our app for placing or picking up orders.
• Take and enter orders accurately using a POS system with attention to detail.
• Process payments efficiently, including cash handling and card transactions.
• Pack orders carefully with speed and urgency to ensure satisfaction.
• Support teamwork with dessert finishing, barista tasks, and drinks preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier and take-out areas.
• Complete closing tasks and side-work with ownership and consistency.
• Work well under pressure with a positive attitude.
