Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a To-Go Roadie to support carry out operations and uphold Legendary Food and Legendary Service for to-go guests. You’ll handle orders, assist guests, and ensure timely packing with accuracy.

Responsibilities include using the POS system, taking orders, and collaborating with back-of-house staff. We offer weekly pay and a strong benefits package with health and retirement options to eligible Roadies.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced restaurant or hospitality.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Able to operate POS system and handle payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a legendary welcome and assist with pickup orders.
• Answer phones politely and take orders.
• Know menu to take and place accurate orders.
• Package orders with accuracy and care.
• Collaborate with Back of House to complete orders.
• Provide accurate quote times for order completion to guests.
• Understand online and mobile app ordering systems.

Texas Roadhouse is looking for a To-Go Roadie to support our carry out operations, execute high standards of food quality and service, and ensure our To-Go guests experience the same Legendary Food and Legendary Service as our dine-in guests.

As a To-Go Roadie Your Responsibilities Would Include

• Ensuring each guest receives a legendary welcome and goodbye when placing and/or picking up their order
• Uses proper phone etiquette when answering calls and taking orders
• Knowledgeable of menu to accurately take and place orders
• Demonstrates strong organization and accuracy when packaging orders
• Works collaboratively with Back of House staff to complete orders
• Partners with Restaurant Managers on quote times; accurately provides quotes to guests on the length of time to complete their order
• Understands our online and mobile app ordering systems
• Accurately uses point of sale (POS) system to place orders, process To-Go sales, gift card sales, and cash/credit card transactions
• Practices proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Exhibits teamwork at all times
